Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had a diverse range of skills, such as being able to direct, act and produce plays, as well as write them teaching, as well as be the Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Anna Silk is the daughter of a Briton as well as a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. When she was a girl, she appeared in various commercials. Anna was transferred from Toronto and moved to Los Angeles in 1999. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, during an actor's training. They were engaged by 2009, after they got married. Anna became a Jew in 2011, after she converted to Judaism. The couple was weddings in the month of December that year and then renewed their vows in a Jewish ceremony held in Fredericton on April 11, 2011.
