Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu, an American voice actress, producer, and singer, is also an actress. A beautiful and smart actress, she's an inspirational model for many Asian actors who aspire to be successful in Hollywood. After a series of initial appearances in some popular series the actress gained notoriety when she joined the cast of the legal comedy series Ally McBeal where she played the villainous Ling Woo. It was a moment of fame that led to movie roles, such as Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. In Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave an impressive performance as Japanese crime lord O-Ren. Also, she portrayed leading roles in the failures of box office films like Rise: Blood Hunter. Later, she was able to start voicing characters from animated films such as Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's character as a character in Cashmere Mafia, a small screen feature, failed to result in any satisfactory results. Southland is a critically-acclaimed series of police dramas which involved Liu in multiple roles, helped her find her own identity. Liu plays her roles with the utmost respect so as to avoid being typecast in a competitive industry. Even though she's accepted her heritage, she hasn't permitted it to hinder her ability to express herself as an artist.
